Sundays in many areas of France and most definitely here, in
Alsace are a true family day. Nobody works and nothing is open except the
bakery, until about 10am, so what does one do?
Go for a drive, of course.
Since our arrival, we have spent most of our
Sundays discovering the area we live in.
We reside on the edge of a national park which is also a mountain range;
we are surrounded by beautiful rolling hills filled with vineyards and we are
quite close to Germany and Switzerland. Here
are some photos from those drives and the stops on the way.

I do enjoy those drives. I feel like we could drive for hours and hours and see so many different things and places and never go the same way twice.
